I, too, seem to be afraid to go to sleep. I guess I figure, if I can still fight it all all, I will. I spend enough of my life asleep. I tend to be more active at night and there has to be some time when I can get things done.
I have gotten away from this a little. I am not back on medication yet, but have to be awake at certain times during the day. I suffer from hypersomnia in addition to narc and mixed apnea. I have been going to bed between 5-9pm almost every night, waking up at 10, and napping from 1-3. I miss my night time pursuits. But this is working for me for now.
