ritalin/generic

my scrip was for ritalin 5mg 1-3 3Xpd. I was given the generic methylphenidate (Geneva). Any experience with brand name or generic? Yesterday was wonderful but today woke with headache so am doing without. Want a lot more of yesterdays so will try again this afternoon. There are always so many variables just wondered if any of you noticed a real difference between brand name and generic. Thanks.
