I am not sure but the formulation could be different. I personally believe that I noticed a difference in the sustained release 20 mg between 2 of the generic kinds. I first tried the kind at Target, then tried the kind at Eckards. I didn't think there would be a difference, but totally prefer the Eckards kind.
P.S. Ritilan has made such a difference for me.
