Student:

You are right that most people when hit with strong emotion get weak - and that is true. I have thought about that and wondered the same thing. Unfortunately for me, not only do I get "hit" with the weakness but it lasts for what seems like forever and a day. It isn't very fun to live like that the days after some "event" but I get through it.

I am sorry to hear about your roommate. He sounds like a person who had a lot to give those around him. Especially with a quote like that. Besides my father, I lost a friend also unexpectedly like you. It killed me to lose him because he was also such a person. The brightness of my life is one light less without him.

Thanks for the response. Good luck on the exams. I am anxious to get back in school. I failed all of my classes last semester with the help of Provigil and Narcolepsy. I hate that stuff - oh how fun that was. This semester was out because of testing at Stanford, surgeries and the like. So, I hope to try it again next semester.

Jayde
