Provigil did nothing for him(not to mention the cost-we don't have prescription coverage in his health insurance). Coffee is the only drug that helps, with the least side effects. Without coffee, he loses his whole day. We are not very thrilled with the surgery option, but caffeine seems to be the drug that gives the most with the least side effects for him. Funny that so little is posted about caffeine as a drug! We feel that without coffee, there is little option, but the thought of surgery is scary!. Thanks for your response!
