I'd say "good riddance" to your ex boyfriend. Obviously, he took no time to read and understand your illness and if he can't accept you the way you are and stick with you during the rough times, I'd say you are better off without him. If you love someone, you don't desert them when they are down. I've experienced a lot of things like this in dealing with my narcolepsy. Certain family members have told me that I "talk to much" about my narcolepsy and that they didn't want to hear about it. Also got the same comment from my boss. My opinion is that people really don't care and they are so insensitive. My doctor told me it could take a year or so to get all the meds worked out. Hang in there and don't let the stupid people get you down!
