Hi,
I just want to add to 'me 2'. I have two children 6 and 4 and both my labours were a 'breeze' too. I think you get good at 'going with the flow' and surreal situations being a PWN.
I had some diamorphine with my first and just got a pleasant drunk feeing. Second labour I needed no pain relief, it just didn't get that bad (and I am no martyr!).
I had no sleep paralysis during my pregnancy...
p.s. Get all the help you can after the birth. The lack of sleep can be really hard (as it is for normal folks). If you are well looked after, by yourself and others you can have the space to enjoy just you and baby.
Take care of yourself. All the best!
