others relating to N

Posted by student on May 09, 2002 at 00:06:38:

Well, today was the last day of classes for me this Spring Semester (finally). My N has really caused me probs. this term, and I've suffered (grade wise) from it :(

As classes have now come to a close, it's final exam time (groan), and many of my peers (as well as my self) have been putting in LONG hours studying or writing term papers, and such, and in the process have accumulated sizeable sleep debts.

As I was talking with my friends today, they were mentioning how tired they were, and they said the following
quotes:

"I was talking on the phone with my brother...and I suddenly fell asleep..."

"I was reading my book, and all the sudden, next thing i remember it was 30min. later..."

With a smirk, I told my friends..."well, now you have a (basic) taste of what living with narcolepsy is like"....

And my friends, who've been sympathetic and understanding about my problems have suddenly realized the challenges us PWNs face in our daily lives, and have more of an appreciation for the efforts that we make to live "normal" lives.

It was a real eye opening experience to say the least...

Okay, well I have to get back to studying for my Organic Chemistry final (yuck!!)
