For example, I have Classic Narcolepsy and the following occurred during my MLST. First, I fell asleep in less than 4 minutes during my 3 naps (the 4th wasn't necessary). I IMMEDIATELY went into REM sleep upon falling asleep each time. Most people have more mild cases, but if you have N, they should know right away.
