Are you currently being treated for OSA? (e.g. are you on CPAP?) If not, I'd suggest talking to your doc about getting it treated.

It's true that OSA prevents you from getting enough sleep, and one of the main consequences is that you're more tired during the day (compound that with Narcolepsy, and well...). Also I've also heard that untreated OSA can cause weight gain, but I' dunno the details on it.

As for social lives....it's tough. Let me say that much :)
