I thought that I was the only one that felt more alive and wide awake on Vicodin. I know that there is a narcotic "high" that people can get taking these and an increased feeling of well-being. When I take a Vicodin for my pain (fibro) I feel like I can get things accomplished, my mind is sharper, I am awake and alert. I have OSA and am going to talk to doctor about MSLT, as I am still having significant daytime sleepiness, although it is better.
