those bursts of alertness are great aren't they? my dr ended up putting me on concerta (time released ritalin) first 18 mg then 36 mg. The 36 mg was great, but soon I was too awake and ended up making myself really almost sick from not getting enough sleep. My boss also noted my "edginess...". I assume from the dose being a little too high. Also take provigil 400 mg a day. I ended up doing a "drug holiday" the last 4 days, and all I have done is sleep, sleep, sleep. So far, averaging about 17 hours a day - 12 hour sleep at night and 3-5 hr nap. I can't wait to go back on it, it's h*ll. It's kind of scary to see how really sleepy you can be once you been on the meds for awhile! I plan everything around how the meds work. Fun, huh?
