sleep attacks?

The term sleep attack is not entirely clear to me. For me it means when the off switch instantly flips and the plug in drain in the bottom of my foot opens and immediately draing all mental and physical capabilities. If I go to sleep will sleep at least an hour and feel no better. Can some of you describe what it mean to you? I'm trying to sort and gather as much as i can to find the fix.
