are you saying that if our hypocretin is gone due to some autoimmune damage, then what is physically happening in our brain to cause the sleep attacks (or other symptoms), right? The only thing I'm aware of is that because this brain protein is missing, everything else does not work correctly, i.e. sleep attacks, cataplexy, SP... If you figure it out, let us know!
