I'll add to that there are some areas of the country that are more favorable to people with disabilities. Indiana, sadly, is not one of those. Our circuit includes Illinois and Wisconsin and we are the most conservative circuit, meaning pro-big business and anti-individual rights. The ADA, although technically applicable all over the US is "interpreted" different ways. In my state it is interpreted just about clean out of existence with regards to having protection in the work place. It does seem, however, that most successful suits were against the government. Such as the post office or military.
The 9th circuit obviously is the most liberal as to what they interpret laws to mean. But why would you want to live where the pledge is seen as being unconstitutional? I guess good and bad in everything.
