Vern:

I have been on Provigil for about a month and 1/2, and your experience with Provigil sounds just like mine. I too have the problem with afternoon sleepiness, and recently have been having a problem with morning sleep attacks as well. I started my dosage with 1/2 a pill in the a.m. and a whole pill in the afternoon. I am now up to 2 whole pills a day, like you. I am experiencing some insomnia (even though I am tired in the afternoon), the "spacey" feeling in the afternoon, as well as headaches and a tic in my wrist, and twitches in one of my eyelids on a pretty consistent basis. But, I sort of feel that learning to adjust to these side effects or waiting for them to go away is better than the way I felt when I was on Ritalin (4 years on Ritalin). As far as the use of other meds, I take motrin (regular non-scrip dose) for the headaches from the Provigil. Maybe there is some correlation between Provigil and Motrin? Hmmmm...
