Maryanne:

Did you suffer from any insomnia when you started Provigil? I have been on it almost as long as you have, and recently upped my dose to 400 mg a day (200 a.m., 200 noonish), and am still having trouble getting to sleep at night, often up till 12 or 1 a.m., and I have to get up at 6 in the morning for work. Ugh. But, I wonder if just taking the 200 mg of Provigil in the a.m. and then a small dose of Ritalin in the afternoon would help, since I never had insomnia the entire time I was on Ritalin. And, the afternoon seems to be the worst as far as the sleepiness, and the "spaceyness" I get from the Provigil. I'm interested to hear your feedback. Thanks!
