I take Mirapex for the PLMS, which seems to work. At least I still wake up rested in the morning. For RLS before I go to bed, I take 2 ibuprofin. That usually takes care of the problem. As far as I know, there are no problems with taking both mirapex (also a parkinson's disease medication) and provigil. I checked with severals doctors and pharmacists before I started, because I don't like mixing meds either. And I haven't noticed any problems myself. Also, extra iron is supposed to help with RLS. I added iron supplements, but don't know if they are doing any thing for me. But I did not get turned down for low iron the last time I gave blood!

Good luck

Mary Anne
