Bev--Thanks for your response though I'm sorry to hear you've had to struggle with the wt. gain issue too. It sounds like you might lose the wt. when you go back to work if your activity level picks up--especially if you resume taking ritalin. Ritalin was the first stimulant I was on and I lost no wt. on it (I was still 10 lbs. thinner than I am now), but I was on a very low dose of 20 mg. It's really too bad we can't just be OK with our bodies whatever shape and size they assume, but that's pretty tough in a culture which embraces a physical ideal that statistically only 5-10% of women have any hope of attaining. Nonetheless, that's my goal--to work toward loving my body in all of its plumped-up grandeur! I wish the same for you--not the plumpness, of course, but abundant self-love, to include your body whether with or without those extra 10 lbs.!
