Yes, I took Luvox with the Dexedrine and Ritalin for a little over two years. I switched to Provigil so I wouldn't have to be on amphetamines anymore, and to see if might work any better. The Dexedrine and Ritalin worked great, but I thought I might try the new drug to see if it cured me or something. (It hasn't, but it's comparable.)
I went to a counselor at my college's resource center, and saw him for about 5 months. He informed me there was a phsychiatrist there, too, and she might prescribe me meds if I wanted. (I had tried Prozac a few years earlier, but had to go off it, cause it made me too tired.) So she prescribed Luvox, and it seemed to work fine. If you've only been on the Dex. for a few weeks, maybe give it a couple more. If you're on a substantial dose, it should help in the weight loss. I was on a very small dosage the last couple years, so it didn't help with the weight loss then. However, when I first started it 6 years ago, it really helped, cause I was on a higher dosage then. I hope all this made some sense.
Good luck.
