So sorry to hear that you're having the same seemingly futile "battle of the bulge". In another posting you referred to a 20 yr. old daughter I think--does that make you in the menopausal or perimenopausal age range? With input from others I'm beginning to conclude that my wt. gain might be more a function of that change than Provigil--just that the menopausal wt. gain was neutralized while I was on stimulants. At any rate, though I'm sorry it's happening to you too, I guess misery loves company--it is reassuring to hear that someone else is struggling with the utter injustice of food intake and exercise being so wildly out of proportion to those numbers on the scale!
