Dear Randy,

I believe Cephalon, manufacturer of Provigil, is underwriting clinical trials of Provigil with ADHD--don't know for certain what stage this investigation(s) might be at, but given the potential economic advantages for Cephalon of demonstrating efficacy with the ADHD group, a much larger group of consumers than narcoleptics, you can bet they'll be eager to market the drug for this clinical indication. You can probably get info about the progress of this research by emailing Cephalon at their website. I emailed a question about Provigil for another clinical usage and received email and phone call from one of their research scientists the next day. Let me know what you learn (I don't have ADHD but am a psychologist and work with quite a few ADHD folks--am also married to one).

Linda
