Posted by Linda G on August 19, 1999 at 16:30:56:

I just diagnoses a few weeks ago of narcolepsy. at first we thought it was sleep apnea, I was so happy because I new CPAP helped alot of people feel AWAKE again. the more I read this forum I know without a doubt IT IS. the problem is everytime I start reading to try and learn more I just feel so VERY VERY SAD because I know there is no cure for this and I can't imagine feeling like this for the rest of my life. I am on ritalin which is helping me move more than I have in years.and after reading the comments on this forum I know you will all understand.
