need to know if it can be cured?

i'm 22 ,i've suffering narcolepsey since past six years ,its scary ,i'm scared to do anything including taking up a job ,coz i get into this habbit of sleeping ,i didnt know it was a disease ....i need to know if it can be cured and will it continue to be like this in future also
