Linda,

I'll definitely give the Provigil a try if my doctor wants me to. I hope she has a couple day's worth of samples because it seems a shame to invest money in a prescription if it is going to be something that I'll be asking to get off of in just a couple days because of side effects. It's good to know that insomnia may not be a problem with it, but, as I said before, I can not deal with nausea or diarrhea for any length of time at all and still be able to work. Unfortunately, I still have not won the Lotto (remembering to buy a ticket would probably increase my chances greatly) and so can not afford to stay home and ride out any side effects, hoping they will go away. You are right that probably more people who are unhappy with Provigil are posting than those who like it. I'm trying to keep an open mind and it really helps to have a reality check from someone who is doing well on it. Thanks for the advice. I'll be doing the dance of joy if they can just find anything at all. My symptoms seem to suggest hypersomnolence, but if they tell me I have something else and can make me feel better by whatever means I will be one happy, happy girl.

DeeAnn
