Help me with Provigil!!!! EXPLAIN!!!

Posted by Tim on August 23, 1999 at 22:32:43:

I am 16 and was just diagnosed with sleep apnea OR narcolepsy. (I have not had blood work done so doctors not sure) I started taking Provigil this week and it has worked great. Because it is working, does this mean I have Narcolepsy for sure, or would it keep a non-narcoleptic awake too? Also, after taking Provigil for 3 days, I forgot to take it on the 4th day. That day I was groggy and sleepy all day, far worse than my symptoms before I ever to the drug. I was wondering if my body was catching up on the sleep impulses that the Provigil denied me of, could that be? Finally, I now have a mild case of sleep apea or Narcolepsy, it doesn't affect my life all that much.(No dosing of driving or anything like that) Can my condition become worse, and it so, is there anything I do?
