Im 32 and I have narcolepsy. As far as I know, blood work isnt used to tell the difference between apnea and narcolepsy. You need to see a sleep specialist for an overnight sleep study, if you havent already. There are several throughout the country - depending on where you live they may be certified as sleep specialists or neurologists. If you have narcolepsy, the provigil will be a big help = the extreme sleepiness when you stop is normal - your body is readjusting. See a sleep specialist as soon as you can. Good Luck!
