I am scheduled for a sleep study and an MSLT on Sept. 15/16. The Dr. said he THOUGHT it was probably narcolepsy. And the more I read, the more I am beginning to think he MIGHT be right.

I was just curious about my husband, who swears up & down that he is not sleepy durning the day. He snores VERY BADLY, daydreams a lot, does automatic behaviors VERY BADLY, and has had sleep paralysis.

I daydream A LOT (sometimes voluntary sometimes not), I do automatic behaviors but mine are very short in duration (my husband can completely miss 10 minutes or more), I have always have felt like I could sleep forever, I have sleep paralysis a couple of times a week and I think I have had cataplexy a couple of times.

But then my naps are very long, usually 2 - 4 hours. And then I don't want to get up when I do. And narcolepsy is marked by short naps, isn't it?
