relationships

Posted by billy on August 27, 1999 at 03:52:05:

How difficult is it for a narcoleptic to maintain a relationship with someone...esp a romantic relationsihp on the emotional front, that is? A woman I am seeing, when things got a little more serious, seems to have headed for the hills. It is like night and day. She never returns my calls nor my emails but was kind enough to pick me up after my wisdom teeth extraction two weeks ago. Since then, however, she has been reclusive. I feel like I am getting mixed signals but am really trying to understand what a narcoleptic goes through on a day-to-day basis.

I'm just curious if it's common to jump around from person to person and never make any serious commitments. That would make sense to me, considering what I've learned about avoiding emotional situations.

Any insight you can give me is greatly appreciated. I really want to be there for her. So, the more I can learn, the better. Thanks!
