Billy, I have Narcolepsy & have been married for 14 years. But, my disease was much less active back when I was in the dating scene. So, as for committment, I'm not sure if it's a problem.
Narcolepsy is controllable thru medication. However, when you take these type meds. the side effects are sometimes moodiness, anxiety, emotional, jumpy, spacey, maybe even paranoid a little. As you can see, a person might be somewhat unpredictable in their behavior using amphetamine type meds. Since you're here asking questions I'm guessing that she'd be afe to share her feelings about N with you. Ask her if this is the problem, or if there is a problem? Let her know that you will try to be supportive. Maybe she'll open up.
Good Luck, Vern
