If your husband snores that much at night, part of your EDS might be from him disturbing your sleep, in addition to anything you might have.

Sort of sounds like your husband ought to look into possible obstructive sleep apnea. You might want to try sleeping in a separate room from him, even before the sleep test. If his snoring is wwaking you up, i wonder if you sleep test might not show anything, if you are getting your first undisturbed sleep in a very long time. Might be a plan to check with your sleep doctor.
