I'm interested in this new Xyrem research.. however I thought the drug was more specifically for Cataplexy and not EDS?

How did you get involved in the study? How does it effect your "usual" lifestyle (i.e. need time off from work, etc)? What are the side effects as compared to Ritalin and Provigil? (although I realize these are different for everyone, some ideas would be helpful).

I'm still in the process of completing my 19 pg sleep survey for Stanford and hoping I can participate in any trial(and go to Cali!!) :)I better get moving a fill it out before I fall asleep...
