Yeah..I did get those stats from the Physician's Desk Reference...which in turn come from Cephalon. One of these days I have got to do an exhaustive search in a medical library of other artices written on provigil. Another likely problem is that most of the ones that are out there are probably funded by grants from cephalon. gee...there's noooo conflict of interest there!

I do believe that a lot of people experience few side effects, and I also believe that people who HATED a medication will be a much louder constituent than those who think it is good, althought they may be fewer in number. But shame on the drug companies who insist on pretending like a drug is great for everyone, if the 5% who don't like it are seriously impared. And in the case of provigil, it DOES make you liver eat your estrogen, but that is glazed over without any mention of what could happen to someones ovaries if they are working quadruple time. I have serious issues with the whole drug approval process: tons of red tape in all the wrong places. Now i am just ranting.

But really, those of us who dont like provigil...are we all the same? same battery of effects? same type of narcolepsy (like maybe N w/o C)? Any MDs out there who wants to take that idea and study it, I claim no IP...take it.

there, done ranting...i will just add that to my list of stuff to fix when i can.

thanks for listening!
