My husband has trouble waking up in the morning, and like you could hit the snooze button for 2-3 hours. I help wake him up in the morning - rubbing his arms and chest, and talking to him until I know he's awake and functioning and not groggy. (He says some pretty funny things when he's in that half asleep mode! :) ) This seems to help him a lot.

So, if you have someone in your household who could help you with this, that would be great. If you live alone, maybe enlist a friend to call you and talk with you until you're not groggy.

From my experience, that seems like the hardest part of his day and once he gets going, he's OK.
