My husband takes Provigil, and feels that it helps him immensely. He has been on other meds in the past, and each has lost effectiveness over time. Provigil is his most recent med, and I think he likes it. He does "supplement" the Provigil with caffeinated beverages during the day.

He has not complained of side effects. However, by nature he's not a complainer, and he may have side effects that I'm not aware of.

I hope this helps.
