I am new to Provigil. Been taking it less than a month. I haven't had any adverse side effects so far (knock on wood). It keeps me alert so long as I keep myself busy. I supplement with 5mg of Ritalin late afternoon/evening if I get sleepy and need to be more alert. I have found Provigil works fine so long as I can take a nap in the early afternoon. I also take a med at night to help me sleep as I have nightmares and disruptive sleep. I don't have the rush that I had when on time release ritalin but find it has helped with my EDS.
