I have narcolepsy(diagnosed 10 yrs ago) and sleep apnea(diagnosed 1yr ago). I've been taking provigil for about 2yrs or so. It works fine for me. The only side effect that I have is the strong smelling urine. I take 600mg a day. I'm okay for the majority of the day, but when 600pm comes around I'm about to fall over. Which is ok because I'm home from work by 530pm. I started with 400mg but that did nothing. I suspect sooner or later just like everything else it will stop working. But, for now it suits me fine.
