I too NEED HELP IN THE MORNING

Posted by Jayde on September 24, 2002 at 22:05:39:

Hello Everyone:

It has been a while since I have been here. I won't bore ya'll w/ the details. It's just good to be back.

But anyhow - like the subject says, I too "need help in the morning. I mean we are talking alot of help. It's like trying to get an "Act of Congress". I do live w/ my mother (partially for this very reason) and she "tries" to wake me. Her version of "waking me" is to stand at my door and yell at me. I am not talking just raising the tone in her voice - she just flat out yells at me - kinda like I've just broke her favorite China dish or something. She gets very angry and frustrated. She looks at it as me being lazy and just not wanting to get up or "it's all your fault, you shouldn't have stayed up so late" (we're talking 10:00 PM.

I have done the double alarm clock thing - putting one close to me and another in completely different room. That doesn't work b/c like Outdoorgal, I will get up and turn them both off w/o remembering that I have done so.

I to would love any help. My mom has gotten to the point that if after two or three tries, I don't wake up she just leaves me be. I mean really, who cares if I get my son to school or not or if I go to work or not. (She'll get my son to school but doesn't care if I lose my job).

Thanks
Jayde

I Hello everyone. This is a first for me.. but I do have a few questions. I was diagnosed with HH over two years ago. I know that I have suffered with it for much longer but never thought there was a medical answer.

My questions:
1. Are there many of you that suffer from 7-15 dreams a night? This was the norm for me before diagnosed. I am on meds, but still find there are nights the meds don't work. Usually when they do work I have only 2-3 dreams that I can recall.
2. I have such a difficult time waking up. I find I can hit snooze for as long as two hours!! I have even put a second alarm clock across the room. There are times that I get up and turn the 2nd clock off, and don't even remember doing it!! Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I would like to wake by 5-5:30am, but it ends up being 7-8am!! Any input would be greatly appreciated!
