It sounds like maybe your dose needs to be raised or maybe you need to be on a different medication. After about and hour and a half or so of having taken my Ritalin, I can still feel sleepy but I cannot sleep if I try to do it...I would talk to your doctor about changing your meds. in some way. Good luck!
