Exactly the problem with narcolepsy!

The mom, or significant other, or brother, or anyone, is willing to help "as long as she thinks it's helping and as long as she knows you are trying."

However, with N, sometimes nothing works, somethimes it takes a year to find something that does. And, even if the PWN is trying, N is notable for making people look like lazy carless losers, when in reality they are fighting with every cell in their body, struggling desperately, to wake up and get out of bed.

Sorry to be harsh, but the Partners of PWN tend to always want a quick, easy fix with visible results. Often, this just doesnt happen. And when it doesn't, the PWN is the one left to apologize for having a chunk of their brain die. That is not fair.

Would you ever tell a PWDiabetes to make some insulin? Would you ever call a sweet old man with Parkinson's "Mr. Shakey?" Of course not. Then don't expect us to just "wake up," or call us lazy. It is just as ignorant and cruel.
