Yes, and my dr told me that I was overmedicated on 200 mgs of Provigil daily--all in the AM. We halved it and I noticed no change in the affect of it. I was not better in any thing I could recall to measure; still had the stoopids and not able to stay awake at work either.

I fully believe that in some people (I'm refraining from using the word "many" there), that Provigil causes more sleep deprivation than the actual N causes. My dr said the side effects I was experiencing were typical of sleep dep. I stopped the med and no longer experience the side effects, unless I am really tired.

Furthermore, Provigil is the only med I have ever taken for N so I know that it is what caused all the problems I had on it--which eventually I will get typed out and share here to open the eyes of others who may be experiencing side effects and not know it.

I am not believing that more of Provigil is better. It seems from most I've read who have success on it, they begin lowering the dose until they hit what works. For others they combine it w/ another drug to make it work. For me I am not willing to continue using something that the company has not been upfront about the side effects like is the case w/ Provigil. Scares me what else we don't know about it.
