That sort of thing is totally normal for PWN. With time you stop worrying about all the misplaced items, they are bound to turn up sometime.
It is most likely to be a form of Automatic behaviour. When I’m tired I wander round and haven’t a clue what I’m up to. You might want to read my “I don’t know what I’m doing” which is about 3 screens from the bottom of the forum.
Since that disaster, I try to avoid getting too tired, but that is pretty hard. Apparently all people underestimate how tired they are. I got into a bit of a discussion with Sleepy kitty on how the people around you are a far better judge of when you should nap, they can see it by looking at your eyes. It was about a week ago, at the end of “Ooops”.
I try to notice when I’m not quite me… and I ask anyone around to watch out that I don’t do anything stupid. That is sort of what I meant in my last reply to you, when I said you learn to cope better with time. I was diagnosed 3 ½ years ago. It took me quite a while to accept it as an integral part of my life, it effects not only me, but all the people around me, so I’ve had to inform them and now that they accept it too, life is a great deal easier.
The part I find most difficult, is the extreme variation in my mental fitness. Sometimes I’m pretty intelligent and an hour later I’m really dumb. If I notice it, I’ll say, tell me that later, but mostly my family have learnt to check if I’m awake, before they speak to me about anything important. If they want me to remember something, it is there responsibility and in their interest to make certain I can assimilate what they tell me.
You will notice that everyone complains of memory problems in relation to medication. I think I mentioned what I read about the meds keeping one awake artificially, but ones sleep dept doesn’t diminish. So although ones awake, one shows a lot of symptoms of being tired.
Actually I better stop writing as I’m getting close to the real dumb stage now
Good night
