Reading some of these other posts about Ritalin, I feel fortunate that I tolerate it so well.

I was worried about starting it - too much caffeine gives me panic attacks, so I was afraid that the Ritalin would exacerbate my anxiety; however, it seems to have the opposite effect. I have less anxiety than I did before I started taking it. No decreased appetite, no trouble falling asleep at night. The only thing I notice is mild nausea or a fluttery feeling in my chest if my doses overlap too much, but I get the same thing from drinking too much coffee.

Unfortunately the Ritalin doesn't always wake me up as much as I'd like (or need). Seems there's always a downside to the meds...
