Well I guess it would depend on you chemical makeup, but for most people I think 2mg would be highly ineffective. 10mg is far more accurate for the average person. I myself take anywhere from 30 - 55 mg/day, plus 200mg of provigil twice daily. I have decided that I would rather be medicated to the point of shortening my life if I can be alert and aware during that life. There are people that take like 75 or 80mg a day of ritalin, so even 10mg is relatively low.
