Please do not take offense.
As a have been reading the forum in the last couple days I have come upon several postings which have caused some alarm. I realize that many of those who visit this forum are interested in their own condition or medicine in general and therefore may have done some research to try to explain what's going on to cause many of the symptoms different N's experience. However, without the proper medical background/education, you may not be able to truly understand the reliability or releavance of the material presented, even worse you may pass that info on incorrectly.
As I have noticed several people passing on info they think they are conveying correctly from reputable sources I would like to remind everyone that a little knowledge can be worse than no knowledge. (i.e. passing on bad info can lead to worse results than not saying anything at all.)

- I love the forum and get much support and comfort from reading and being a part of the forum however, it really scares me when I see info posted as being 'medical fact' that is being passed on incorrectly.
