Hi!

Thanks for this contribution. I think in a way you are toatally right. A little knowledge can be worse than no knowledge.

On the other hand I think waht makes this forum so very good is not only the fact that there are posting people who understand and respect each other and really can help each other so often (THANKS to everyone here for that!!!), but also the fact that this forum is a big source of information. And the medical information passed on here is very good. For a single person it is quite difficult to collect so many different infos in a short time, but with everyone doing researches it's much more effective.

Of course there are different sources and they are probably of different reputation.
So everybody should be aware of the fact that there is the possibility of informations being correct, half correct, pure speculation or even wrong. Maybe it would be a help to mention where information is from?

Concerning information about N in general: There is not known that much about N in the medical world - at least compared with other diseases. AND the sad thing is that doctors often even do not know the little bit what science knows so far, some even do not know what N is. I have the impression that most PWN know more about N than many doctors.

I know what I'm talking about because I have the - as you called it - medical background. And I think we should be careful in taking every info as true without thinking it over, but I think we must not stop giving on information. We should ask questions when we do not understand things, because without asking one does not get answers.

No problem for me to answer medical background questions, too. But I don't want to post here just as a medical. This forum also gives me comfort, people who understand, answers concerning everydays life and reports about experience. That's more than science can give you, though we need the medical infos as well.

Oh, gotta hurry!

Ciao!
Shadow
