Hi!

Sounds interesting! But I think I can remember having read that modafinil itself also rises the basal body temperature about 0.5 °C (without sleep deprivation). Think it's in the leaflet about the med which I ordered from the company selling modafinil in my country. They did some studies that showed this temperature changes. I will look it up!

My own impression of modafinil is that it causes a rise in temp as long as the waking effect lasts. Every time after the few hours it works for me I start feeling cold easier again. As long as the effect lasts I feel much more comfortable (at least concerning temperature).

Did you also find some more about the connections between N and temperature-regulation?

Greetings!

Shadow
