I have noticed the same thing. I can help you with the reason though. eating or drinking something hot will increase the blood flow to many places, but more specifically the digestive system which will decrease blood flow to the brain. Now, I haven't a clue if it's any significant amount of decrease in blood flow to the brain, that would take someone with more specific knowledge. That's why when people eat large amounts of food or take in something hot they tend to get a little drowsy. I'm sure you see where it leads if it makes those without N drowsy and what that would mean for those of us with N. If anyone has better information or can correct any errors in my ideas... go for it.
