What "Perks" Do You Use

Posted by TL/Wife on March 12, 2003 at 04:13:47:

Perks isn't the best work, just can't think of anything else. I've been on SS Disability for almost 14 years now, sleepiness is my life, like many of you. Even though the sleepiness gets me every day, where ever I am, I do get "tired" of being sleepy in the same place. So I started looking around for ways to have some variety in life without spending much. So here's what I take advantage of in my State: 1/2 price ferry fare with free fare for my wife (can take an 8 hour round trip from here to Victoria British Columbia for about $8), free day parking and 1/2 price camping at state parks, free entrance to national parks, 1/2 price parking at national forests. We're surrounded here with these parks and forests and it's so nice to be able to go to them on a regular basis. It also helps my wife to be able to get out. None of it makes up for this sleepiness, but it does give me a bit more of the feeling (illusion?) of taking part in life. Are there things that others of you take advantage of?
