Worse as you age?

Does anyone know if narcolepsy gets worse over time? I've read both - that after the onset it gets worse and then plateus, but I've also heard that it can continually get worse. For me personally, it feels like it's gotten worse over the past 10 years, but I wonder if it's because I'm getting more and more sleep deprived over time so it just feels worse.
